Marc Poulos started painting homes during summer vacations while attending college. After he finished college, Marc had a brief career in the real estate and financial services field. He then realized that his passion was beautifying homes. Marc began working with a variety of small craftsman shops, before serving an apprenticeship with the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Chicago. His commitment to excellence won him the distinguished honor of “Top Apprentice” from Washburne Trade School in Chicago—one of the premier schools of its kind in the country. Marc spent seven years beautifying the Ritz Carlton. He then formed MVP Decorating, which was in existence from 1996-2009. Wanting to return to the personal touch of the early years and the unparalleled service of the days at the Ritz Carlton, Marc made a few business changes and formed Marc Poulos Painting and Decorating where he knew his name and reputation would be on every job.
